Upgrade notification - 2nd July 5am Dear customers At 05:00 am this morning (2nd July) we will be installing a new Cisco WS-X6748-GE-TX card into our Centro based Cisco 6504-E router. This module is designed as a high capacity fabric enabled card providing 40Gbit/sec of internal switching. Downtime is only expected to be around 2 - 5 minutes as cables from existing core switches are migrated direct into the new card. Apologies for the late notice, this was originally scheduled for next week but has been brought forward to avoid a conflict with one of our network peers (Tiscali) also performing updates in the later part of next week.
